BLUE GARD® Gaskets

The demands of modern applications make the choice of the right sealing product and the right manufacturer an importnat consideration.  BLUE GARD® gaskets and seals are manufactured in our completely modernized facility that is equipped with the latest techonlogy in waterjet cutting, flash cutting and die cutting.  Tight quality controls are used to ensure that custom gaskets manufactured from any of the Garlock BLUE GARD® materials conform to your specifications and uniformity.  For over 100 years, Hennig Gasket & Seals has provided the assurance that our manufactured BLUE GARD® Gaskets will perform with proven reliability.  We are committed to on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.

Our facility accommodates the custom manufacturing of single prototype BLUE GARD® gaskets or large scale production runs manufactured from your blueprint of reversed engineered from a sample part.

Garlock BLUE GARD® gaskets and seals have a unique blend of aramid fibers, fillers and elastomeric binders that provide improved torque retention and drastically lower emission levels. Operational costs are cut through reduced waste, maintenance, fluid loss and energy consumption.

Garlock BLUE GARD® Gasket Material:

Hennig Gasket & Seals is an authorized distributor of Garlock BLUE GARD® gasket material.  BLUE GARD® is a non-asbestos compressed sheet gasket material manufactured by Garlock Sealing Technologies.  Selecting gasketing materials for particular applications is not an easy task.  We will help you choose the right product from our inventory of:

BLUE GARD® 3000
Composition:  Aramid Fibers with a Nitrile Rubber Binder
Sheet measurement:  1/8" thick, 60" square
Temperature:  max: +700F, min: -40F, continuous max: +400F
Resistent to:  water, aliphatic hydrocarbons, oils, gasoline
Applications:  water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas production, food processing, pipe flange gaskets, boiler gaskets, mro applications

BLUE GARD® 3200
Composition:  Aramid Fibers with a SBR Rubber Binder
General Properties:  meets MIL-G-24696
Temperature:  max: +700F, min: -40F, continuous max: +400F
Resistent to:  water, saturated steam, inert gases
Applications:  water and wastewater treatment, gas production and delivery (including inert gases), power generation (steam) 

BLUE GARD® 3300
Composition:  Aramid Fibers with a Neoprene Binder
General Properties:  meets BS7531 Grade Y specificatios, WRC BS 6920 approved
Temperature:  max: +700F, min: -40F, continuous max: +400F
Resistent to:  water, saturated steam, refrigerants, oils, fuels
Applications:  refrigeration, petroluem, oil & gas production, power generation (saturated steam), water distribution and treatment

BLUE GARD® 3400 (same as BLUE GARD 3200 just different color)
Composition:  Aramid Fibers with a SBR Rubber Binder
General Properties:  meets MIL-G-24696
Temperature:  max: +700F, min: -40F, continuous max: +400F
Resistent to:  water, saturated steam, inert gases
Applications:  water and wastewater treatment, gas production and delivery (including inert gases), steam applications (power generation, heating)

BLUE GARD® 3700
Composition:  Aramid Fibers with inorganic fillers and an EPDM rubber binder
Temperature:  max: +700F, min: -40F, continuous max: +400F
Resistent to:  water, saturated steam, mild chemicals
Applications:  mild chemical production, delivery & transport; water and water treatment; water processing, steam applications
